It's a Great Day at the Phenix City Spine and Joint Center! Unfortunately, for some children in the Russell County and tri-city areas, they don't have great days. According to the Russell County Child Advocacy Center, each day an average of three children die as the result of child maltreatment. Thousands more suffer from some form of abuse or neglect. With budget cuts reducing the funding of the Russell County Child Advocacy Center, we would like to partner with you to help these children in need.
Phenix City Spine and Joint Center is putting together a southern cook-book, "Dr. Cooper's Best Recipes for Eating in The South". We are collecting the recipes from the area's best cooks in the tri-state community and show casing artwork from the children at the center. Proceeds will be donated to the Russell County Child Advocacy Center. We are asking you to help us make this possible. Here is all you will need to do:
For only $125, you will be a CHILD HERO sponsor. This means you will be sponsoring a full page in the cookbook with a child's artwork on your page. You may dedicate the page, place a poem honoring children or write a message for the future of our children. You will also receive the original artwork from that child, framed for your place of business.
For $50 you will be a PAGE OF HOPE sponsor. You may dedicate the page with a poem about children, write your own message or dedicate it to a child.
Being a sponsor will help the Russell County Child Advocacy Center in their endeavors to erase child neglect and abuse. The cook book will encourage family time and giving to the children of our future. If you have any questions, please call Janie at our office at 334-298-7700.
